Scope of duties

For an international retail company we are looking for an experienced person with high communication and negotiation skills and able to make difficult decisions in stressful situations.

Communication and PR Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Building and conducting internal and external communications and Media Relations, Public Affairs, crisis management activities.
  • Managing information policy and shaping the company's image by:
    • cooperation in conducting communication activities with the media, PR agencies, business partners,
    • organising press conferences,
    • preparing information materials, brochures and leaflets, company magazines and external and internal information materials,
    • overseeing content published on the website and internal intranet,
    • coordinating social media activities.
  • Support of social, cultural and CSR actions having a real impact on the company's image.
  • Organisation of special events and projects (fairs, conferences, charity events).
  • Analysis of the impact of significant economic events on the image of the company.
  • Management of 2-3 people.
  • Planning and controlling the communication and PR budget.

Candidate profile:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in public relations and communications.
  • Experience of working in a similar position very preferably in multinational family companies or with dispersed shareholders.
  • Knowledge and experience in handling and creating valuable, expert, profiled content, as well as social media moderation, including influencer marketing and creating awareness campaigns.
  • Ability to negotiate and make quick decisions, dealing with stressful situations.
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal skills related to public and media speaking.
  • Experience in communication with journalists and representatives of public and local administration.
  • Independence and creativity in action.
  • Ability to work in a team and under time pressure as well as good organisation of work.
  • Higher education (preferred faculties: communication, journalism or public relations. etc.).
  • Very good knowledge of English.
  • Knowledge of another foreign language will be an additional advantage.

  • Employment contract, salary adequate to experience and achievements.
  • Work in the office in Poznań (after a few months of thorough familiarisation with the profile of the company's operations it is possible to work remotely for a few days a month).
