About the Company
Our client is a well-established international organization operating in the wind energy installation and service sector, currently undergoing a major transformation to strengthen its operational structure and efficiency across Europe. The company provides comprehensive technical solutions for wind turbine installation, maintenance, and project execution.
Globally, the company employs around 600 people, including approximately 250 employees across Europe. Its operational center for Europe is located in Poland, serving as a key hub for project coordination, logistics, and workforce management in the region.
As part of this strategic transformation, the company is creating a new leadership role Head of Project Execution Preparation Department to further enhance project readiness and operational excellence across its European network.

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced operational leader and coordinator, who combines excellent organizational skills with a genuine passion for developing people and teams. This is a newly created position reporting directly to the General Manager in Poland.
The successful candidate will lead and develop a 35-person department, including several junior managers across functions such as recruitment, planning, training, documentation, supply chain, warehouse, fleet, and travel logistics.
This role offers a unique opportunity to build a new function from the ground up, structure key operational processes, and develop the next generation of managers. The person in this position will play a central part in ensuring that every project starts on time, fully equipped, and with well-trained teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a multifunctional team responsible for all project-preparation processes.
  • Coordinate and align operational processes to ensure complete project readiness - from personnel and documentation to equipment, tools, and logistics.
  • Drive Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement initiatives across recruitment, training, documentation, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Coach and mentor young managers, developing their leadership and managerial capabilities.
  • Supervise technician recruitment and training to ensure the right skills and certification levels for upcoming projects.
  • Manage supply chain, warehouse, fleet, and travel logistics operations with focus on quality, efficiency, and cost control.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Management, Sales, Finance, QHSE, and IT departments to ensure alignment and effective communication across the organization.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for a well-organized and inspiring leader with strong operational experience and a genuine passion for developing people and improving processes. This role requires someone who can coordinate multiple teams and functions, thrives in a dynamic, project-driven environment, performs effectively under pressure, and brings clarity and structure to complex operations.

  • 10+ years of professional experience, including several years in a managerial role within an international or technical service environment.
  • Higher technical education (Engineering, Mechanics, Logistics, or related).
  • Proven experience in the wind energy or a related industrial/service sector.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes, project planning, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and coach young managers and team leaders.
  • Fluent English communication skills (Polish language skills would be an advantage).
  • Pragmatic, improvement-oriented, and resilient personality, comfortable in a dynamic environment.

What the Company Offers
  • A key operational leadership role with direct impact on efficiency and team development.
  • The opportunity to build and lead a newly created department, integrating key support functions.
  • Broad autonomy to implement Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Close cooperation with the General Manager and international teams across Europe.
  • Competitive compensation package, including annual bonus, company car or car allowance, private healthcare, and insurance.
  • Hybrid working model, with 3-4 days per week on-site in Szczecin.
