Scope of duties

Maintenance Manager

Our client’s factory is a state-of-the-art Greenfield investment in the building materials industry – you’ll have a unique opportunity to be part of its development from the ground up and have a real impact on shaping technical processes, production standards, and maintenance culture.
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager who will ensure the reliable operation of machinery, equipment, infrastructure, and utilities in an automated production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Maintenance Department – plan and organize work, develop team competencies
  • Supervise maintenance of production machinery, technical infrastructure, and facility & utilities areas
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and long-term maintenance strategies for production lines
  • Coordinate inspections, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure production continuity
  • Supervise UDT (Office of Technical Inspection) inspections and certifications; cooperate with certification bodies
  • Ensure compliance with technical regulations, machinery directives, and health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Implement solutions improving technical, energy, and environmental efficiency
  • Cooperate with service providers, contractors, and suppliers on maintenance and modernization projects
  • Manage the maintenance budget, monitor costs, and prepare reports

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment (experience in Greenfield projects will be a strong asset)
  • Experience working with automated production lines
  • Knowledge of machinery directives, technical standards, and safety regulations
  • Experience supervising equipment under technical inspection (UDT) – certificates or authorizations will be an advantage
  • Higher technical education (automation, mechanics, mechatronics, or related field)
  • Proven ability to manage teams and organize maintenance operations effectively
  • Familiarity with CRM/CMMS systems used for maintenance planning and reporting
  • Good command of English (international working environment)
  • Nice to have: experience working with SAP
