Process and Coating Engineer

Our client, a global leader in the building materials sector, is seeking a Coating Engineer to join their production facility near Poznań. This is a key role responsible for the development, optimization, and standardization of coating processes. Your responsibilities:

Implement and develop standards and best practices for wet coating processes.
Provide technical support to production in resolving process issues, including paint preparation, application, and drying/curing (heat, IR, UV).
Analyze and optimize coating processes with a focus on quality, energy efficiency, and performance.
Participate in new technology development projects and in the launch of new coating lines.
Collaborate with R&D centers and technology providers to support innovation.
Organize pilot trials and carry out process-related analysis.
Deliver training and share expertise with operational teams.
Contribute to the development of process documentation, benchmarking systems, and KPI monitoring frameworks.

Candidate profile:

Hands-on experience in industrial production environments with coating technologies.
Practical knowledge of wet application and curing techniques.
University degree in a technical field (e.g., Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines).
Proficient in English – capable of effective communication with headquarters and international teams.
Eagerness to learn and willingness to share knowledge.
Familiarity with SAP (production modules) and other digital tools related to manufacturing is a strong plus.
