Our client is a company belonging to an international concern of one of the leading manufacturers of construction materials. Our Client is looking for a person for the position of:

Production and Logistics Manager

Job Description:
  • Achieving objectives for the proper functioning of the production and logistics departments in the manufacturing plant.
  • Creation of production plans and production budget and verification of their execution.
  • Development and control of budget assumptions taking into account the consumption standards of basic production materials such as raw materials, fuels, energy.
  • Ensure the implementation of high quality production in accordance with technical standards, requirements of Factory Production Control, environmental protection and accepted standards.
  • Initiating changes and verifying quality and technological requirements in all phases of product manufacturing.
  • Sales service management - planning and organizing shipments of construction materials, cooperation with customers, development of delivery schedules.
  • Planning, execution and optimization of work in the warehousing area - organization of warehousemen work, supervision and control over stock levels, periodical stocktaking, supervision over budget execution in logistics department, supervision over supply chain processes in SAP system.
  • Cooperation with suppliers, planning of supplies of chemical raw materials and packaging and supervision of cooperation with external companies providing services for the production plant.
  • Management of a subordinate team of employees (approx. 21 persons).
  • Cooperation with company representatives from other countries in planning production and delivery of finished products.
  • Cooperation with other departments of the company (planning, maintenance, purchasing) in order to optimize activities and achieve the assumed objectives
  • Ensuring proper working conditions in terms of hygiene and safety as well as cleanliness and order in the assigned area.

Candidate profile:
  • Min 3 years of experience in management positions.
  • Min. 3 years working in logistics and production areas.
  • Higher education.
  • Knowledge of issues in the areas of logistics and warehousing, production planning and control, purchasing, customer service.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools and SAP.
  • Knowledge of English language on good communication level.
  • Driving license cat. B.
