Supply Chain Manager

For an international manufacturer of building materials developing a modern production facility near Poznań (greenfield project), we are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager who will build local supply chain structures from the ground up and take full responsibility for end-to-end supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the supply chain strategy in Poland – build SC structures from scratch (planning, logistics, warehousing, S&OP, customer service)
  • Establish and monitor KPIs (inventory levels, logistics costs, planning data accuracy), initiating corrective actions where needed
  • Oversee material planning, distribution, warehousing, and transportation operations
  • Collaborate closely with production, procurement, sales, quality, and finance – both locally and within the global matrix
  • Lead continuous improvement (CI) initiatives and drive process optimization across the SC function
  • Participate in international projects, including global meetings and occasional business travel
  • Manage cooperation with external partners (3PL, suppliers), optimize material and service flows
  • Build and lead the local supply chain team – recruitment, development, performance management, goal setting, and implementation of standards
  • Report directly to Global Supply Chain Management and the Plant Manager
  • Act as a cross-functional integrator – connecting people, data, and processes in a dynamic, international environment
Requirements:
  • 5–8 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing company (building materials or related industry)
  • Proven experience in team and project management
  • University degree (preferred fields: logistics, management, production engineering)
  • Practical knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and supply chain processes (planning, distribution, warehousing)
  • Fluent English – enabling effective cooperation with HQ and international stakeholders
  • Preferred: experience with greenfield or transformation projects
  • Ability to work in a global matrix environment – close collaboration with international SC structures
  • Strong partnership mindset and ability to integrate planning, logistics, production, procurement, and sales activities
We Offer:
  • A key role in a newly established structure – real influence on process design and site development
  • Work in a dynamically growing production facility (greenfield)
  • Participation in international projects and collaboration with global teams
  • Stable employment in an innovative and responsible organization
  • Attractive salary and a comprehensive benefits package
  • All necessary tools, strong HQ support, and development opportunities

If you’re ready to take on a strategic role and build something from the ground up – we’d love to hear from you
