Technical Develompent Expert, Building Materials, NAJ International

For our client, an international manufacturer of building materials, we are looking for an experienced technical professional who wants to make a real impact on the development of innovative solutions. We are hiring for the position of:

Technical Development Expert
Location: Warsaw (hybrid model – min. 3 days/week in the office)
Your responsibilities:

Initiating and coordinating the development of the company's products (passive fire protection sector) to ensure compliance with local technical requirements and market needs.
Close cooperation with the Building Research Institute (ITB) regarding product certification, as well as with external laboratories conducting product testing.
Monitoring market and regulatory changes – identifying technical opportunities and risks.
Co-creating product value propositions – in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
Organizing and overseeing laboratory testing, preparing documentation, and managing the test and certification database.
Preparing technical and educational materials – for both clients and regional sales teams.
Delivering technical trainings and supporting regional technical teams with complex solutions.

Your profile:

University degree in a technical field (e.g. civil engineering, mechanical engineering, fire protection engineering, or related).
Professional experience in the construction sector.
Familiarity with certification and testing processes for building materials.
Ability to work in an international environment; cultural openness.
Hands-on problem-solving approach, strong analytical skills.
Fluent English, both spoken and written (mandatory).
Driving license and willingness to travel (e.g. visits to the testing lab).
